CHARLOTTE, Mich. — Eaton county officers say there’s $150,000 out there in a house advancement grant plan, but no a single has utilized for any of the funds.
The Eaton County House improvement grant application lets area home owners to use for funds to repair up their households.
Upgrading roofs and replacing furnaces are among the things the money can be employed for.
Officers say the method has been open up for several months.
“We have received really couple members owing to other unexpected emergency bank loan packages that ended up readily available even though we ended up seeking to fight COVID. But this year the grant software expires in June and we have enough cash to assist individuals with their housing requirements,” explained Eaton County Fee Chair Jeremy Whittum.
